4.5 stars-best lotion for KP
I'm about halfway through my second bottle of this lotion, and already I'm thinking about when to buy more so I don't run out. I have keratosis pilaris and this is the best thing I've found for it-I still have some bumps, but my arms are MUCH smoother. I use it on my arms and legs whenever I get out of the shower, about 3-4 times per week, and I've gotten rid of pretty much all my other body lotions because I won't use anything else. It has sort of a watery texture which makes it easy to spread around, and it sinks in fairly quickly without being too sticky or greasy (although it will of course take a little longer in summer/humid areas). It does have a noticeable scent that's kind of unusual-the best way I can think of to describe it is "vaguely nutty"-but it doesn't bother me, and I can be kind of picky about scents. Please note that it will sting pretty mightily if you have a cut anywhere, but I haven't noticed it making my skin any more sensitive or anything in general. The only thing I don't like about this lotion is the packaging! The cap sometimes lets out more product than you want, and since I always travel with it (can't be without it!!) I've found that it's prone to leaking. Obviously this is not really ideal when you are dealing with a lotion this expensive, and the acids in it can damage the packaging of other products in your toiletry bag. Even so, I'll keep buying it, because I haven't found anything else that works as well.

Bye Bye Dry Skin!!
DCL High Potency Body Lotion is my go to for Dry Skin! I have very dry skin on my heels and also on my finger tips, which at times if the weather is cold can even be worse for me with my hands. Besides the fact that my skin regenerates very fast and causes the skin on my heels to crack. I do use a luffa regularly as well to reduce the skin on the heals of my feet. DCL is the Best out there. The Lactic Acid that it has in it is the best for cracked skin. I don't agree with anyone that says other wise. It Truly really does the job and I use it religiously. It seems like a miracle lotion to me and anyone that I have recommended it to. My friends say OMG, this stuff is great. It has the vitamin C factor as well and other ingredients which makes it so unique. There is NOTHING ELSE OUT THERE THAT DOES THE TRICK FOR DRY SKIN....TRUST ME. This is the Best! I highly recommend it to those who suffer from continuously having dry or cracked skin. I wish there was something that I could take to stop all together. I have not found that, however this helps so much to reduce it or even stop it at times.

This stuff is horrible! I don't know why anyone with any skin condition would use this. I have psoriasis and it's never been like this! Never ever have had a reaction on my neck. This is day three of me putting it on eveynight and my neck feels like it's going to be cut open. It's so raw and I haven't done anything else to it besides use this. Just look at my picture! Buyer beware!

This product was first recommended to me by my dermatologist 5 years ago, for my keratosis Pilaris and to be used in conjunction with a topical steroid. The high potency moisturizer kept my skin hydrated and protected it, while the steroid went to work, and the combination cleared up my skin within 10 days. I continue to use the high potency moisturizer everyday on my whole body, and it is so crucial to my skin's hydration especially in the winter months. I have very oily sensitive skin, so I would definitely not use this on my face as part of my morning routine, but at night I've used this on particularly dry spots and it hasn't ever caused me to break out. According to the ingredients there aren't parabens listed in the formula, which makes this moisturizer such a standout product, to be as rich and hydrating as it is and to be free of both gluten and parabens. In the winter I'll use about one bottle a month, but the other 9 months of the year, a little definitely goes a long way! I will continue to recommend this moisturizer to everyone I know and to buy this product regularly for years to come!
