Great product but shade really matters!

I had tried a couple of lip products with spf before I found Coola and this one was a top pick for a reason: physical sunscreen, creamy texture, no after taste, good color. I will sometimes use the Firecracker at night when I don't need protection just because I like the color and the staying power. That said, when I tried a different color, the texture was totally different: chalky and crumbly. So if Firecracker works to you (a not too intense pinky red), I think you'll be happy. Other colors are hit and miss in terms of texture.

Good Option for SPF on the Lips with Color

This isn't as balmy/melty as a regular lip balm or an untinted mineral SPF balm I also often use, but it's not dry and chalky like other tinted SPF balms I've used in the past. The color pigmentation is good (though I may have picked the wrong shade for my skin) and my lips feel nicely protected.

Yes to spf!

It’s a little dry for a lip balm but I like that I protecting my lips.

Be aware, not so “balmy”

This is not a smooth balm that moisturizes. It’s a matte sunscreen that goes on a bit dry. I imagine it’s good for summer, warmer weather… the beach. Not a balm.

30yr old, oily skin

Love this SPF for my lips, I use it also on my cheeks since it's basically a colored spf stick. Color goes on well, however, not necessarily a bad thing, but color easily rubs off. Maybe because I'm used to a bit of staining of the colors, I would prefer it left a tint on lips so color could remain longer. Regardless it's the best Spf I have used on my lips and like the ingredients.

Nice color & spf

I really like this! Does not have an “spf” smell and the shade skinny dip is a nice peachy nude

Not great

This lip balm is chalky, not hydrating, and not long lasting. Was looking for a good lip balm with SPF but this is not it.

At Last!

I have tried so many sunscreen products for my lips to no avail. I thought I would have to live with dry, cracked, painful lips forever. Thanks to Coola Mineral Liplux Organic Tinted Lip Balm Sunscreen SPF30, I now have soft , smooth, healthy lips. I apply a lip conditioner first and then the Lip Balm Sunscreen and couldn't be happier! I'm a believer!

Dry and Stinky

Very dry, very strong floral smell, mine arrived broken.

Hard Chalk

I guess I could have gotten a bad one, but if I did not I would not recommend. This is very chalking - almost like a block of zinc. It goes on like a large chalk stick for driveway art. There are better spf natural, mineral lip balms.
