Cellex C Advanced C Serum
Cellex C is the original company who came out with a C serum and actually did a study with an older man to show the results. Their products are amazing and result oriented. Many companies especially one in particular have copied many of their ideas. All their products are of top quality from their serums to their moisturizer and anti aging.

Love this product!
I've used other less expensive C serum but did not get the results that I do with Cellex-C. I have used this brand for years. I wash my face in the morning. I put this on first before anything else. I use 3 or 4 drops on my face and throat then I follow with a moisturizer. This is the best.

This is my favorite vitamin c. They have a patented vitamin c delivery system that works especially well with those beauty device that enhances product absorption (using charged ions). If you have those devices on hand give it a try with this serum.

Almost expired and Oxidized
I have used Dermstore for years. This is probably my 10th bottle I have gotten from them. I have never had issues until now with Dermstore. For those of you looking into this product, you have probably researched the heck out of C Serums and you know that Cellex C is the gold standard. Skinceuticals is a spin off that is not allowed to use the proprietary formula of Cellex C. Once the doctors who developed Cellex C parted ways and Skinceuticals was born. There is nothing on the market as good as Cellex C with the clinical trials to back its effectiveness. With that being said, it is not marketed as heavily as Skinceuticals. I think that is why Dermstore shipped me a bottle that is nearly expired. They are not as advertised, so they are not flying off the shelves like other C Serum brands. So are at a disadvantage with the stability only being 18 months for C Serums in general. However, Dermstore should monitor this and write off expiring inventory, not send it to a consumer. They did not even offer to send me a replacement bottle as a courtesy before I leave for vacation in good faith I would return the bad one despite this being their mistake. I would have to return the bottle via snail mail and wait for the return to process and then they would send me another free of charge, unless I wanted to pay for another, then it could ship right away. This lack of customer service prompted me to look directly to Cellex C to see if I could source a bottle with a shelf life from another US distributor. To my surprise, they said they are selling on Amazon right now. Of course there are still counterfeit / unverified sellers. But, if you pick the one with their logo on the store front. Shipped direct by Amazon. The price is great and I received the product next day with my prime account. The shelf life was 15 months, not the 3 months on the bottle that Dermstore sent me. The product looks more like it should - a very pale yellow, not an oxidized orange that shows it is losing efficacy. Cellex C customer service even allowed me to call them with the batch number and expiration date on the product Amazon sent me to confirm it was one of their batches because I was so nervous about it. Cellex C had awesome customer service and I am glad that I was able to have them help me directly before I leave for vacation. I did not want to go a day without my serum. I am disappointed in Dermstore with their lack of helpfulness to resolve an issue that they created by shipping a nearly expiring product. In summary, do yourself a favor and go directly to the manufacturer if you want the freshest product. Dermstore does not turn their inventory enough on this line and does not write off expiring product. Instead, they ship it to their customers. I have attached a picture. As you can see the differences between the pale yellow fresh bottle from Cellex C Direct through Amazon and the oxidized golden nearly expired bottle from Dermstore. The product is absolutely amazing when you get a good bottle. I am 40 and still get carded for a drink on occasion. I know it is because I use this product and my tretinoin religiously. Just be sure to get a potent fresh bottle and you wont be sorry.

Best Vitamin C
When it comes to vitamin c serums, Cellex C is the gold standard. If you're hesitant because of the price, read up on the brand and the clinical studies that have been conducted. Quality ingredients made into an efficacious formula are always worth the investment. Personally, I believe in spending the most money on these 3 skincare essentials: Vitamin C, Retinol, and Sunscreen. I have used several vitamin c serums and never have I found one to be as effective as this. I use 3-4 drops over my face and neck followed by sunscreen once a day in the morning. Also, a reminder... be patient when it comes to seeing results. Hope this review helps!

The best I've seen
I've been using this product religiously for 11 years. It's very light, absorbs quick, brightens and tightens the skin. I look at least 20 years younger with no wrinkles at 53 years of age! I absolutely love it and highly recommend!!

Made my face dry out
This is my second vitamin C serum to try, and it dried my skin out way too much. I just learned there are more than 1 type of vitamin c in serums, one water soluble and one fat (maybe, can't remember what my facialist said ) But I returned this product because my skin is already dry , and this made it 10 times worse. Sad face.

Can't live without this stuff
This is a watery formulation, so it isn't heavy or greasy and isn't moisturizing at all, so you'll need a separate moisturizer. But that's one of the things I love about this - you can use it under your moisturizer and it won't add any weight to it. The ingredients are minimal, which is also a bonus for people with a lot of skin allergies. Like others have said, I don't know what it is, but my skin just looks better. Brighter, more vivacious - you just have a glow about you when you use this. I can't definitely tell when I haven't been using it, which is why I have it on subscription now. If I could only buy one skin care item, this would be it.
