This product is great for all hair types to combat excess oil and sebum production. To unlock its full potential, I let the shampoo sit on my hair for 2-3 minutes while I do my everything shower before rinsing out. As for the star ingredient, Zinc Pyrithionehas antifungal and antibacterial properties that help reduce the growth of yeast and bacteria on the scalp, both of which are often linked to dandruff and other scalp conditions. The Zinc Pyrithione is what soothes itchiness, balances oil production, and reduces scalp irritation. Personal Review:Restoring Serum is an amazing scalp treatment to use on my roots. The sensation is very cooling and soothing on the scalp due to the aloe vera as a key ingredient, so would be perfect to calm any itching or flaking. I love the precision nozzle packaging as it’s easy to apply the formula right into the roots, either on a dry or damp scalp. Especially as we are getting into the cold weather months where dandruff and dry scalp concerns are more prevalent, this is the perfect spot treatment to solve the problem at the root- literally.
