What's been missing from my routine!
This is the first essence I've used, and I totally get the hype! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and my skincare routine isn't super complicated. After using this, my skin retained that "post wash" plumpness that quickly fades away - for me at least. After cleansing and toning, I add a few drops to my hands and pat it into my face and neck, then add my serums and lotions. It's really been a game changer!

This has been my favorite tonic. I still use another moisturizer on top of this but my skin feels fresh light and bright after just using this lotion.

Not my favorite
I was not a fan of this product. The smell is nice but a bit soapy. Also when you rub on your face it literally turns into a soapy substance so I don't know if it does much. There are better products on the market so this definitely just sits in my cabinet.

Refreshing essence
This toner is very light weight and has a non-sticky texture. I like to use it in the morning. The refreshing smell is the key that my face needs.

Hydrating!
I use this essence using the traditional Asian method. After washing, I'll put some in my hands and then on my face about 5 times. I'll let each layer dry before applying the next. I don't use cotton balls because it wastes product and more product is absorbed into the skin. After the 5th layer I apply Bioderma moisturizer. This process completely saturates the skin. My skin is very dry and peels sometimes. This product and process works really well for me and gives me supple, plump, glowing skin.

Bioderma Essence Lotion
I received this as a sample in one of my many monthly subscription boxes, and immediately made it part of my daily routine. First I wash my face, and following a thorough rinse, I apply this lovely bioderma essence lotion. I then clean up my sink area, and allow the essence to fully absorb. I then continue on with the remainder of my nightly ritual which includes an oil, another serum, and a moisturizer. I feel like this essence fully prepares my face for the additional products I use. Very nice, easy application, and is fully absorbed. Wonderful.
