Faulty Product
Same experience as a few other reviewers, upon opening the tube, foul smelling water/oil spills out. I’ve used this product for years and never had this happen before. It’s always been a thick cream consistency. So much water was lost that I don’t think simply trying to remix that it will be the same efficacy.

A new must have in my routine
I love Avène products and had been considering this purchase for awhile. I have sensitive, dry skin, and thought this would be nice as a spot treatment for skin flare-ups, rashes, burns, or anytime I needed extra help to aid skin barrier healing. But I like it so much I use it as a moisturizer on my face and neck several times a week. A little goes a long way. It's thick but absorbs nicely. Great after dermaplaning. Has also helped reduce the appearance of sleep lines on my chest.

Daily and post procedure moisturizer
Living in Colorado, this is my everyday moisturizer. Slightly thick, absorbs like a dream, leaves skin hydrated and dewy all day. I also worked nursing in dermatology, and this is what I recommended post procedures (peels, micro needling, lasers), as it has zinc for antimicrobial benefits and absolutely will not sting on that fresh new skin after a procedure. I don’t wear foundation, but do wear BB cream once in awhile and layers well with that.

I recently had a laser procedure and needed a post-procedure cream. This worked well. I was skeptical initially because it felt heavy at first, and takes a long time to absorb. Also, it goes on white and stays white for hours. It definitely soothed my skin and I continue to use it even though I technically no longer need to. I even bought a second tube, just to have around the house. If you can get past the slightly heavy feel of this, and the whiteness, it is a really effective cream.
