Lightened my dark spots

This is a good product, I specifically was targeting some dark ingrown scarring on the backs of my thighs and I saw a visible difference after a couple of uses. Just a bit pricy!

We'll see...

Hoping to improve eczema on the back of my thighs along with overall tone/texture improvement. I do not use this all over. I was very impressed with dry exfoliation when applied to my thighs before shower- and it's not too bad when used in the shower. Jan Marini has always done a great job with acid cleansers, so I'm hoping to enjoy results when combined with toning lotion. *Note- I did not purchase the JM brand toning/cellulite lotion to go with this routine, but I wish I had. When I run out of the other I will be purchasing JM cellulite body firming cream for thigh toning and smoothing.* If you have rough skin or patchy skin, give this a try before applying your medicated lotions or oils. Would be great for knees, elbows, back, upper arms. It has the consistency of the classic St Ives scrub.... but much thicker and provides acid cleanser. If you have angel skin, I wouldn't invest. But, if you have troubled sensitive skin, this is worth a try ;) Good luck!

Great body scrub!

This product was recommended to us by our esthetician, and my teen daughter and I love it. Gentle exfoliation that works great in the shower and helped to smooth bumps on our skin. We use it a couple times a week and we're on our 3rd bottle. We have eczema / sensitive skin and use CeraVe soap and cream and this product is a great addition to our simple regimen. A fan of Jan Marini products too!

Atopic Dermatitis-Friendly

I'm fairly limited in my product selections, as I am prone to flares of atopic dermatitis. This has been my go-to AHA body scrub, knock on wood, for over ten years. I was gifted a bottle of a brand Dermstore is wise enough to not carry, and used it, without putting much thought to it, which turned into a disaster (required triamcinolone). I've since successfully returned to the Bioglycolic. I use it as a shoulders-to-feet resurfacing scrub. This initially can be a stubborn process (a bit of peeling, though nothing glaring. If that would be of aesthetic concern, perhaps start in colder weather, when long clothing would cover anything. The peeling doesn't last but through a small handful of showers, though.). Once the initial peeling is over, I've found using the Bioglycolic once per week is enough to maintain exfoliated, soft skin with minimal build-up of dead skin between uses\no peeling. I like this product, regardless, though particularly in the summer, as it is clarifying. My skin stays pretty happy between the Bioglycolic and Avene Xeracalm AD. This does have a bit of a lemon-lime scent, though I don't find it too strong, off-putting, or lasting. It doesn't lather terribly well, though if I stand just out of the stream of the shower, and use my hands to rub the product over my body (it doesn't require vigorous scrubbing), I am happy with the outcome.

LOVE this product for keratosis pilaris on my arms!

I tried all the typical products that are marketed specifically for KP, with no real results. My sister and I learned about this scrub about 12 or so years ago from an aesthetician, and I have used it ever since. I only need a tiny amount, and use it about once a week or so for maintenance. You'd never even know I had KP now! Seriously amazing product and goes a long way for my usage.

Disappointed

There are not enough granules to make it an efficient scrub. AIso, there were no benefits or changes from the glycolic acid. I would not repurchase this product. Total waste of money.

Just OK, not special

Just ok. It doesn't lather as well as I would have liked. Still waiting in to see long term results.

Best scrub for my sensitive skin

I tried everything i can find to make my skin feel better in the winter time but nothing really worked until i find this scrub. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and tight.

Bacne Begone

Loved how it makes my skin feel after I used it but the scars are still there after a month of using the product. My friends used it and they noticed results after using it consistently for a long time.

Good Product

I like the product, so far I can feel the scrub working on my legs and arms when I use it in the shower and believe that its working to remove deadskin. Great to use before self-tanning lotions.
